Kids ‘R’ Kids Olathe has been selected for the second consecutive Year as Olathe's best Early Childhood Education and Services Center by a national rating organization. The U.S. Commerce Association said KRK Olathe was chosen for “its focus on quality, service to the local community and positive image.”   In 2008, the school was selected as Johnson County’s best early childhood education center by the United States Local Business Administration. KRK Olathe celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2009.  “During the school year, we learned that a group of Kindergarteners who went through our pre-school program scored at a second-grade reading level,” said Russ Robinson, director and co-owner with his wife Beth. “That was great news and confirmed that our pre-K program is teaching our children how to learn and succeed.” Beth Robinson began building the current school in 1997 and oversaw every phase of the construction.  With more than 30 years experience in education and childcare service, she handpicked the administrators and staff that opened the center.  “The children always have been our first priority,” Beth said.  “That’s why I established a tuition reimbursement program that has helped dozens of our teachers obtain certification in early childhood education.  The program helps make teachers better, and better teachers produce better students.”  The USCA, based in Washington, D.C., provides education, guidance, and professional training to small businesses nationwide.  It bases its awards on data gathered from local business organizations as well as local chambers of commerce.  KRK Olathe is a member of the Kids ‘R’ Kids International franchise of family-owned private schools with more than 150 locations nationwide.

KRK Kindergarten Pupils Test at Second Grade Reading Level -  KRK Olathe is the place to get your young student ready for Kindergarten.  Our nationally recognized curriculum prepares students well for the challenges of school.  Students going through our pre-school program tested at the second-grade reading level in Kindergarten in 2009.

Most importantly, we teach our students how to learn. Our curriculum starts with our infants, concentrating on gross motor skills.  Toddlers learn shapes and colors and our early education program teaches letters, numbers and words.

Our students also learn social skills, group interaction and conflict resolution.  We measure our effectiveness by how successful our students are.  Together with our parents, we prepare our children for success.
